Plans

Every one of the 142,891 active public water systems has a free page, violations included. Pro is for working the data: watch systems, get alerts when a system you follow logs a new SDWA violation or when systems in your states change, see every change, export any search. Enterprise is for building on it: the national and every state water-system file plus the national violations file, refreshed weekly, the REST API, an MCP server for AI tools, webhooks and a commercial license.

What's in the data

Water systems: PWSID, name, system type, primacy agency, population served, service connections, owner type, primary water source, city, county, state, ZIP, activity status and the EPA record date. Violations (EPA ECHO): PWSID, violation ID and code, contaminant code, health-based flag, begin and end dates, status and the linked enforcement action. Both are in the REST API, the MCP server and the weekly data files; the CSV export on your account page covers water systems.

Data compiled from EPA SDWIS/ECHO public records, refreshed quarterly; figures are screening data, not compliance or health advice. Contaminant and violation fields are EPA's codes as published. API and MCP docs: /developers. Questions? kenny@hyder.me.
